DeepSeek Open-Sources DeepInfer, the Inference Framework Behind DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash

DeepSeek has released DeepInfer, the inference framework it uses internally to serve DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash, as an open-source project. DeepInfer is engineered for high-throughput, low-latency serving of large mixture-of-experts models, and includes optimizations for expert routing, KV cache management, and multi-node tensor parallelism. The release gives the broader community access to production-grade inference infrastructure that was previously only available inside DeepSeek's own deployment stack. Developers building self-hosted LLM serving infrastructure will find DeepInfer particularly relevant as an alternative to vLLM or TensorRT-LLM, especially for MoE-architecture models. The open-source release continues DeepSeek's pattern of shipping both models and the systems that run them, raising the competitive baseline for inference efficiency across the field.
